Objectives

To give an overview of relevant EU and international research activities and need for action to reduce GHG emissions from agriculture in the context of climate change, sustainable agriculture and food security
To start a dialogue between all stakeholders involved (researchers, policymakers, farmer and industry representatives) in order to identify further mitigation research opportunities and envisage future activities/ research priorities to be addressed at national, EU and international levels
To promote EU and international cooperation in mitigation research
